LB Hyper (Pty) Ltd, trading as LB's Hyper, is the responsible party for personal information processed for the Website and our retail operations, except where another party independently determines its own processing purposes. This policy explains how we handle personal information under POPIA and other applicable law.

· Communications, reviews, enquiries, photographs, videos or documents voluntarily provided for customer support, product claims, returns or complaints.

We generally obtain information directly from you, from your use of the Website, and from payment, fraud-prevention, Supplier, Courier, analytics, advertising and technology providers involved in the transaction or service.
2. Why we process information
· To create and manage accounts, receive and process Orders, verify payments and prevent fraud.
· To source, fulfil, deliver, track, support, cancel, return, replace, repair or refund Products.
· To communicate service messages, answer enquiries, investigate complaints and keep appropriate business records.
· To operate, secure, test, analyse and improve the Website, customer experience, inventory, advertising and business processes.

3. Sharing and operators

We may share only the personal information reasonably necessary with payment providers, Shopify and other hosting or ecommerce providers, Suppliers, fulfilment partners, Couriers, communications providers, fraud-prevention services, analytics and advertising providers, professional advisers, insurers, auditors, regulators, law-enforcement bodies and other parties where lawfully required.
Suppliers and Couriers may receive Customer names, contact details, Delivery Addresses, Product and delivery information needed to fulfil or support an Order.
Where a service provider acts as our operator, we require appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards through contracts or other reasonable measures. Some third parties may act as independent responsible parties under their own notices.
4. Payments
Payment details are submitted to the payment provider selected at checkout. We do not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or security codes on our own systems.
Payment providers may use information for authorisation, fraud screening, chargebacks, regulatory compliance and their own legally permitted purposes.
